Missing Girl Remembered

A missing Greenville girl will be remembered this weekend.  A ceremony is scheduled in Greenville Sunday afternoon for a local woman who went missing as a teenager more than ten years ago.  Balloons will be released in remembrance of Sara Kinslow during the event starting at 3pm Sunday at 3916 Pine St. in Greenville.  Kinslow was 14 when she disappeared on May 1st2001 near Greenville Middle School.

Kinslow’s disappearance was widely reported during the years among local and national media outlets, but the girl was never located.  The remembrance is part of a national road tour designed to revivew interest in missing persons cases.  The North Carolina based Community United Effort Center for Missing Persons is conducting the 8thAnnual “On the Road to Remember” tour to raise awareness of cases involving unsolved homicides and missing children and adults.
