Mobile voting Wednesday in Commerce

By Scott Harvey

Commerce – Voters who don't have the opportunity to vote early in Greenville Wednesday can do so this afternoon in Commerce.

The First United Methodist Church in Commerce, located across from Texas A&M University-Commerce along Highway 50, will serve as a mobile voting location Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Additional mobile locations will be set up this weekend and next week in Quinlan and Wolfe City.

On Monday, the first day of early voting, Hunt County residents help set a record for the most early votes tabulated in one day with 1,514. More than 2,400 early ballots have now been cast through the first two days.

Those who can't vote early at any of the mobile voting locations can do so at the Hunt County Voter Administration Office in Downtown Greenville. Early voting for the Nov. 4 General Election continues now through October 31.
