Monday shooting in Greenville

Greenville – The Greenville Police Department is seeking additional information into a Monday afternoon shooting in the City.

At approximately 1:48 p.m. Monday, the Greenville Police Department received a call of a shooting in the 2000 block of Oliver Street.

Officers responding to the location discovered that at least one person had been shot and was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. During the investigation it was discovered that at least one other person was shot during this incident. None of the injuries sustained were believed to be life threatening.

There were several vehicles as well as at least one home struck by gunfire during this incident.
