Greenville, TX –

The Greenville Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled Monday night to consider zoning changes for two more proposed complexes totallling over 300 new units.

Monday's public hearing includes a request to change zoning from light industrial to multi-family for an almost eight-acre tract, requested by Greenville Development LLC, according to Director of Community Development Philip Sanders. The complex would include about 120 units.

Another public hearing requests a zoning change from commercial to multi-family for 13 acres, sought by the Ball Development Company. Sanders said that is on O'Neal Street between the Solarium Apartments and the Villas of Greenville. Sanders said the developer wants to build approximately 200 units at the site.

Zoning has already been approved by the City of Greenville for three other major developments; at or near the intersections of Highway 34 and Joe Ramsey Boulevard, Jack Finney and Clearview and Oneal and Joe Ramsey.

The Commission's Monday meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 2821 Washington Street.
