Bonham – The 57-year-old man accused of driving a stolen Suburban through a VA nursing home facility in Bonham faces even more charges.
James Edward Hope was initially charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in connection to the Thursday incident. He's now also been charged with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle and criminal mischief leading to the destruction of federal property.
No one inside the center was injured.
Hope remained in the Fannin County Jail at last report. Hope's motive for the action remains a question.
