Farm to Market 69 I-30

Motorists traveling along Interstate 30 in Hunt County should get used to the idea of potential delays and lane closures, starting next week.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced Thursday that another a highway improvement effort is scheduled to begin Monday.

The announcement indicated drivers should expect to see short term road closures on the interstate’s north frontage road at Wolfe Creek and FM 2655 at Middle Sulphur River. Crews will be repairing the support structures of the bridges at the two locations, with the work requiring daytime lane closures.

Highway 19 Construction of Sulphur Springs is the contractor and has 45 working days to complete the project, which is  expected to be finished by May.

TxDOT is asking motorists to obey signs and flaggers, and to be aware of lane closures.
