WEST TAWAKONI - Two people are in custody and a two-year-old child clings to life after a reported beating in South Hunt County.
Sheriff Randy Meeks says the child had been severely beaten in West Tawakoni and was last known to be on life support at a Dallas hospital.
The mother and her boyfriend were arrested Wednesday afternoon. The names of the two suspects had not been released pending arraignment.
