Commerce, TX – Since February 23rd, the staff of Greenville Animal Medical Center has been tending to Ms. Goose-alini.
The goose, revered for attacking and threatening KETR News Director Kevin Jefferies but being a friend to many, was thought to have had a tumor.
But Dr. Patricia Rice, veterinarian at the Greenville Animal Medical Center, said the goose has a ruptured air sac.
Dr. Rice said attempts to repair the air sac were not successful, but it is not life threatening. That paves the way for Goose-alini to return to the shores of Gee Lake at Texas A&M University-Commerce as early as Friday.
Tune in Monday morning between 6-9 a.m. on 88.9 FM and ketr.org, as Kevin and Jennifer Sullivan provide an update on the KETR Morning Show.
