Campbell – A murder charge has been filed in connection with a weekend shooting near Campbell. James Ray Brown Jr., is being held in the Hunt County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bond involving the death of Avis Baker Brown. Services for Avis Brown are scheduled in Caddo Mills this morning. James Brown reportedly told investigators he had mistaken his wife for an intruder Saturday, although the shooting allegedly occurred following a domestic disturbance.
