Capitol murder indictments have been filed against two North Texas residents.
The Hunt County grand jury Friday indicted David Earl Hickman, of Royse City, and Tracie Danielle Alphin, of Quinlan for the shooting death last October of Jason Herrington of Quinlan. Both remain in custody at the Hunt County Jail, each in lieu of $1 million bond. No arraignment dates had yet been scheduled.
Herrington's body was discovered more than a month after his death last year, along a county road off of FM 36. Hickman and Alphin were believed to have murdered Herrington and left his body on the side of the road then sold both the gun used in the murder and the vehicle which Herrington was driving.
