Murder suspect seeks another bond reduction

By Brad Kellar

Caddo Mills – A Caddo Mills murder suspect is again seeking a bond reduction.

Late last month, 47-year-old Randall Douglas Smith had his bond cut in half, from $1 million to $500,000. Smith, who remains in custody at the Hunt County Jail, is now seeking another reduction.

He has been charged with the murder of 49-year-old Gregory Poteet, also of Caddo Mills. A preliminary autopsy report indicated Poteet died as the result of multiple gunshot wounds.
