Greenville – The suspect charged with murder in connection to the Thursday shooting death of a Greenville man remained in custody as of Saturday.
24-year-old Joshua William Lay, also of Greenville, was being held in lieu of $100,000 bond. He is alleged to have shot to death Darryl Dwayne Feggett multiple times.
Lay has reportedly given a statement admitting to the shooting. The suspected murder weapon has also been recovered, according to the police department.
Lay was taken into custody within a few hours of the Thursday murder, which occurred at the Greentree Apartments in the 2900 block of Robin Road.
