Greenville – A murder trial is scheduled to begin Monday in Greenville.
26-year-old Andreas Tearri Morris, of Greenville, is charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of 18 year-old Cordarien Marquel Kelly, also of Greenville, in July 2007.
Jury selection is set for Monday.
Morris had previously pleaded not guilty to Kelly's murder and jury selection was scheduled for March 23. The trial was canceled and the original indictment against Morris dismissed after only a handful of the witnesses prosecutors had planned to testify appeared.
Kelly was found shot several times in the 1800 block of Wellington on July 1, 2007.
