Commerce

– Commerce Police have arrested one man following the issuance of a narcotics search warrant Friday. The bust occurred at an apartment along Washington Street, where officers located about eight baggies of cocaine, as well as a loaded pistol and cigars filled with marijuana.

Both the cocaine and cigars were said to be packaged and ready for sale locally. The 31-year-old suspect was also found to be a convicted felon, resulting in additional charges. They are: Possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Bond was set at $15,000 for each charge.
