Gov. Greg Abbott on Wednesday announced another 800 jobs for Hunt County.

One day after learning that a New Jersey-based food manufacturing company will bring as many as 125 jobs to the City of Greenville, the city learned that a Wisconsin-based chicken processing company is planning to bring as many as 800 jobs.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced earlier today that Brakebush Brothers Inc. plans to build a 315,000square-foot food processing plant in Greenville.

Texas has offered the company a $780,000 Texas Enterprise Fund Grant to build the facility. The plant would be the second location in Texas for the company. Brakebush has an existing processing plant in Irving.
