NETX Raptors Semi-pro football team is looking to make Cooper their new home.

According to Amanda Willows, co-owner with her husband Dave, the team is made up of a diverse group of outstanding men that includes college students, veterans, a corrections officer, and blue collar workers from Dallas, Greenville, Sherman, Paris, Durant, Oklahoma, and many other surrounding locations.

They are bringing a fun, family-oriented entertainment to Cooper. The season begins the last weekend in February and runs through the first part of June.

It is a non-profit organization and is focused on being involved in community events.  Further, they would like for the community, particularly youth, to take part in our halftime shows.

They will be playing at the high school field and will be releasing a schedule soon. Tryouts are being held every Saturday in January at 3p.m., at 4100 Old Clarksville Road in Paris.  Season begins February 25. You must be 18 and over to play.  For more information call 903-905-1229 or email raptorssemipro@gmail.com.
