New allegations raised in upcoming murder trial

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – New allegations are being raised by the prosecution in an upcoming capitol murder trial. Prosecutors have released a list of witnesses they plan to call to testify against Brandon Dale Woodruff, and have also made public a series of additional allegations they intend to raise against him during the trial; including an alleged steroid use. Woodruff remains in custody at the Hunt County Jail in lieu of $1 million bond in connection with the deaths of his parents, Dennis and Norma Woodruff, who were slain inside their home near Royse City in October, 2005. A final pretrial hearing is scheduled for Feb. 16. Jury selection is scheduled for March 2.
