New Business For Downtown Commerce

Aglaia Culture Club
Aglaia Culture Club

Commerce Chamber of Commerce manager Paul Voss says Adventures in Printing, owned and operated by Marie Humphries, will relocate in the former Eddie Moore TV building in downtown Commerce.  Paul says the interior of the building will be restored to its original style.  Paul says the announcement of the KLZ Stone Group manufacturing facility coming to Commerce, providing jobs for up to 50 people, is terrific news.  The Northeast Texas Children's Museum will hold a silent auction from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening, April 25, in the Sam Rayburn Student Center at Texas A&M University-Commerce.  And the Chamber will sponsor the Bois D'Arc Car Show all day Saturday, April 30.  A veterinary clinic for pets will also be held in downtown Commerce that day.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
