Greenville – Anyone wanting to build a fence in Greenville may have some new rules to go by.
The proposed amended fencing ordinance is to be considered Monday night by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
The new rules would include new limits on fence heights in the front and back yards of local residences, as well as rules and what types of materials would be allowed for the barriers.
A public hearing on the item begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building.
If approved, the Commission will recommend the change to the City Council, who would then conduct a second public hearing on August 10.
