Hunt County – A new city council has been formed in Hunt County. Jay Atkins is now the mayor of Union Valley. Daniel Council was elected as Commissioner No. 1 and J. A. Francis is Commissioner No. 2. The city was incorporated at the November 6 special statewide election.
