New indictments issued against Sulphur Springs doctor

SULPHUR SPRINGS - Theft and Medicaid fraud charges have now been levied against prominent physician Dr. Don O’Neal and his wife Mary Ann.

The couple has since been released from jail after posting $5,000 bond.

The charges issued after an investigation by the Texas Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Division are the latest allegations against the Sulphur Springs doctor.

60 previous indictments against him were dismissed, while Dr. O’Neal received deferred adjudication probation after pleading guilty to misapplication of fiduciary property.
