New plea forthcoming in armed robbery case

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – The second of two men indicted in a December armed robbery in Commerce is expected to plead guilty.

Parvis Raynell Clark Jr. had previously pleaded not guilty to aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, but is expected to issue a new plea during a hearing Monday.

Clark, of Commerce, is alleged to have acted alongside Larry Donnell Clark Jr., of Greenville, in using a gun to threaten a female victim while committing a robbery. Larry Clark pleaded guilty earlier this month and received probation, a fine and community service.
