Cooper – Cooper ISD has named Chris Kiser as the new principal for Cooper High School. The action comes after a voluntary separation agreement with former principal Michael Ramsay. Ramsay had been arrested in May on a warrant charging indecency with a child and has been on administrative leave since April 12th. The allegations were said to be unrelated to Ramsey's service to the district.
Kiser comes in as new principal after a year as Assistant Principal at Cooper High School and previously taught and coached for several years in Quinlan.
