Commerce – There should be a brand new Sonic up and running in Commerce by September. The owners of the current Sonic fast food restaurant are moving from their location on Live Oak to a site along Highway 50, with construction on a brand new facility currently underway.
Also in Commerce, the new Blackjack BBQ restaurant has plans to expand in the near future. The other new BBQ place you may have seen work on along Live Oak is a no-go, however, as the developers have backed out of that project.
