HUNT COUNTY - Hunt County officials in the SPCA have rescued multiple dogs from an area east of Royse City.
The seizure occurred on Wednesday from the Hunt County property after it was learned that nine dogs had been abandoned. They were receiving adequate food, water and shelter, according to the SPCA.
The animals were transported to the SPCA of Texas' Perry Animal Care Center in McKinney, where they will be cared for until the custody hearing on December 16 in Greenville.
