SULPHUR SPRINGS - Residents of a home that caught fire Tuesday night in Sulphur Springs were able to escape unharmed.
The duplex, however, was destroyed. Firefighters responded to the scene just before 6 p.m. at the corner of Connally and T.J. Alley to find the building fully engulfed in flames.
Hopkins County provided mutual aid to Sulphur Springs firefighters, and the local chapter of the Red Cross provided rehab to firefighters and assistance to the residents.
