Sulphur Springs – Fire destroyed a Hopkins County residence after it broke out early Sunday morning. The blaze occurred along Country Club Road just east of Sulphur Springs.
There were no injuries as the residents were not home at the time the fire occurred.
The house was reportedly fully involved when firefighters arrived on the scene. Crews from Hopkins County, Brinker, Pine Forest and Saltillo battled the blaze and were on the scene for nearly 4 hours.
There's no word on how the fire may have started.
