AUSTIN - A college student from Rockwall is out of the hospital after being hit by a bus on a street in Austin.
The video has almost instantly gone viral. It shows University of Texas students in their annual last day of class foam sword fight on the campuses' main drag.
When 18-year-old Nick Engmann charged into the street, he was slammed by a city bus and knocked several feet forward, shattering the bus’s windshield. In spite of how bad it looked, the student was released from the hospital.
The Rockwall News reports Engmann graduated with honors last year from Rockwall-Heath High School.
He later posted on his facebook, “I can finally mark ‘get hit by a bus’ off my bucket list!”
