GARLAND - A Garland man has been sentenced to prison for robbing three north Texas banks, including one in Hunt County, after his mother and stepfather turned him in.

Anthony Blue, of Garland, was sentenced Monday to 59 months in federal prison. He had pleaded guilty in January to three counts of bank robbery.

In June 2011, Blue is said to have held up the State Bank of Texas in Garland. That same day he traveled to the Community Bank of Rockwall where he committed the same offense. The following month, Blue held up the American National Bank of Quinlan.
