Commerce – A Commerce woman has pleaded not guilty to injury to a child.
35-year-old Windy Yvonne Harle entered the plea during a hearing Tuesday. At attorney was also appointed to represent her.
Harle was indicted last month on one count of injury to a child. She was arrested on June 10 following a reported disturbance in the 2300 block of Bois D'Arc Street, where she was alleged to have obtained a baseball bat and threatened the husband of the other couple, who was carrying an infant child in a carrier.
During the struggle, Harle was alleged to have pulled the boy from the carrier and the child's forehead hit a concrete step.
