Greenville – A former Hunt County resident has pleaded not guilty to using a baseball bat in an alleged assault one year ago.
Timothy Carl Wood, of Gun Barrel City, entered the not guilty plea Wednesday to one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Wood is alleged to have hit a man in the head with a bat in April 2010. He was arrested four days later and is currently free on bond.
