West Tawakoni – A West Tawakoni man has pleaded not guilty to two counts of serious injury to a child.
Christopher Scott Fried is facing a sentence of up to life in prison if convicted of either of the charges of injury to a child by an act with family violence and deadly weapon finding. Fried was arraigned Monday and a tentative trial date was set for February 22.
He's alleged of striking, hitting or throwing a female child on two separate occasions in April. In each case, the actions caused serious bodily injury or mental injuries to the child. Fried's hands are alleged to have been used as deadly weapons.
