Refuse to take a breath test this weekend and police officers will take more drastic measures.

If you’re thinking of drinking and driving over New Year’s Weekend, know that law enforcement agencies in Northeast Texas will be participating in the "No Refusal Program” for DWI stops.

No Refusal means just what is says – officers will be able to get warrants to draw blood (at a hospital) from motorists who refuse a breath test.

Rockwall County agencies will be participating in the program for the 10th year in a row this weekend. The program begins at 12:01 a.m. Friday, December 29, and runs until 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 2.
