Officials find Wilson acted in self defense

SULPHUR SPRINGS - A specially called Hopkins County Grand Jury has decided against the murder indictment of a Sulphur Springs man.

As the Sulphur Springs News-Telegram reported last week, 30-year-old Clint Weldon Wilson was no-billed by the jury.

Wilson had been suspected in the death of Justin Daniel Pawlik in December. Pawlick had reportedly threatened Wilson shortly before the incident, and the panel ruled that the “Castle Doctrine” concerning self-defense applied in the case.
