COMMERCE - University Police at A&M-Commerce say that an apparent pedestrian-only accident involving a male on a bicycle was the result of the victim having a seizure.
The accident happened along Monroe Street between Moore and Stonewall Streets in Commerce just before 4 p.m. Monday.
The victim appeared to have suffered head and leg injuries, according to University Police Chief Donna Spinato, but was conscious and able to communicate with officials. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. It was unclear if the victim was a student.
The scene was cleared by 4:30 p.m.
