One killed in rear-end collision near Sulphur Springs
HOPKINS COUNTY - State Troopers are reporting the death of a Sulphur Springs man following a three vehicle wreck along Highway 11 Tuesday.
54-year-old Agustin Medina Yanez was said to traveling westbound near CR 4710 when his vehicle was rear-ended. The impact, according to officials, pushed Yanez’s car into oncoming traffic, where his vehicle was struck on the passenger’s side by an eastbound vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other injuries. DPS was unable to confirm if negligence played a role in the accident.
