By Kevin Jefferies

Hunt County – One man is dead and another wounded after Hunt County Sheriff deputies were forced to open fire on an armed suspect Sunday, according to the Herald Banner. 40 year old Jeffrey Allen Kravletz allegedly shot one man in the leg and fired on several houses in Cochise Village off farm to market road 751 in south Hunt County before deputies responded to a 911 call, and eventually were forced to open fire when Kravletz turned a revolver on them. Kravletz was pronounced dead at Parkland Hospital and the man shot in the leg was treated and released.
