One of two robbery suspects to serve lengthy term

GREENVILLE - Nicolas Allan Campbell of Florida has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to a string of robberies in Greenville back in September.

Campbell was indicted by the Hunt Grand Jury in December on three counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, as was Cody Robert Morris of Commerce.

During a Monday morning hearing, Campbell pleaded guilty to all three indictments. Under a plea bargain arrangement, Campbell was sentenced to twenty years in prison on each charge with his sentences to run concurrently.

Morris also had an interim hearing Monday but did not plead guilty.

The pair were alleged to have robbed three Greenville businesses.  They’ve also been indicted for an alleged robbery in Royce City.
