Hopkins County – A Saturday afternoon wreck in Hopkins County kills one, while leaving another in critical condition.
50-year-old Jerry Randall Caddell, of Como, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred along CR 2421 about a mile south of Highway 11.
State Troopers say 49-year-old Cindy Darlene Hill, of Sulphur Springs, has been taken to East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Her condition remained critical at last report due to head trauma and internal injuries.
Authorities say Caddell was driving the vehicle when it reportedly left the road and overturned.
