Overnight fatality on I-30

KETR

One man was killed in an overnight accident along Interstate 30.

Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson Kyle Bradford said the agency received the first call about the accident at around 7 a.m. today.

“But it happened several hours prior to that,” Bradford said.

Jason Tadlock, 32, was killed when the Chevrolet pickup he was driving eastbound Interstate 30 near the 101 mile marker veered across the highway, struck the median, then entered a bar ditch and crashed into a tree.

Tadlock was the only occupant of the vehicle. Bradford said the DPS was still attempting to confirm Tadlock’s address, but that he was from Hunt County.

Bradford said the accident is still under investigation, but that it appeared the crash occurred sometime during the overnight hours and was not discovered until this morning.
