Paris High School to hold grand opening

By Scott Harvey

Paris – Administrators with the Paris ISD will hold a grand opening this Sunday, as the public is formally welcomed to view the $37 million facility.

Voters in 2007 approved the more than 220,000 sq. foot structure. They also voted in favor of another $16 million in renovations to six of the District's other campuses, and its new football stadium. All three propositions were approved by more than 60 percent of voters.

Crews with PBK Architects broke ground on the project in February 2009.

Sunday's grand opening is scheduled from 2 - 4 p.m. at 2255 South Collegiate Drive. Trolley shuttles and refreshments will be provided.
