Paris ISD administrator recognized

Paris – Paris High School's Althea Dixon has been named Region 8 Outstanding Assistant Principal.

The award, presented by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals, recognizes outstanding principals and assistant principals from the twenty regional education service centers in the state.

School administrators are chosen by their peers with their regions. As a Region 8 winner, Dixon is eligible to compete for the state title of the Texas Assistant Principal of the Year.

Dixon has eighteen years of experience in education and is currently in her fifth year with Paris High School.
