Paris, Texas – A Paris man is part of the team that won the richest prize in television history. Charles Taylor and his Team Genius won the $3 million prize in the final episode of the NBC show Treasure Hunters Monday. Taylor met fellow teammates Sam Khurana and Francis Goldschmid at SMU. Their high IQs qualify them as geniuses, hence the team name, and the brains of the team is what set them apart from the other teams.
The reality-based game show sent teams around the world to unlock a mystery that would lead them to millions. The trio of Geniuses faced many grueling physical and mental challenges, but eventually cracked the final cryptex and opened a secret door to a room full of gold.
