Parking needed at Greenville aviation college

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – More parking is needed at a new aviation college in Greenville. The City Council plans to hire Texana Land and Asphalt Inc. of Sulphur Springs Tuesday to expand the parking lot of the new Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) school at Majors Field Municipal Airport. In May, the Council agreed to a partnership with Paris Junior College (PJC) and L-3 Communications, to lease the city's former A&P campus building, hangar and parking lot at the airport to PJC. The popularity of the program has resulted in the need for more parking spaces.
