Van Alstyne – The pastor of the King's Trail Cowboy Church in Van Alsytne will attempt to spend the next 23 days in a small tent fasting to help motivate area residents to give to the less fortunate this holiday season.
Jason Norton's first two days at the corner of FM 121 and Highway 5 were met with rain and then snow. He'll eat no food, but only drink water and coffee.
He hopes to fill an 18-wheeler trailer with non-perishable foods, toys and clothing donations to help families in need have a happy Christmas. Anyone is welcome to stop by the location to assist in the effort.
