Ag in the Classroom was recently held at the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center. The two-day event boasted over 400 fourth grade students from Hopkins, Delta, Fannin, Rains and Wood counties.
The students rotated through 12 stations learning about various aspects of agriculture. Sponsoring the event was the Southwest Dairy Farmers and Farm Bureau among several others.
The event was initiated to teach students how agriculture touches their daily lives.
