Pilot of drug plane still on the loose

By Brad Kellar

Caddo Mills – Authorities believe a suspect in Monday's drug plane incident that ended in Hunt County is no longer in the area.

Darin Fayne is believed to have piloted the plane, which landed near Caddo Mills.

Hunt County Undersheriff Joe Knight also said that a California man arrested at a Greenville bus station on a parole violation shortly after the incident has no connection to the case.

The plane had been reportedly involved in an earlier "incident with a federal agency" prior to its landing.

Two area residents reported drug bags that had fallen on their roof and lawns, full of what is believed to be hydroponic marijuana. Total estimated street value of all the drugs recovered is $640,000.
