PJC - Greenville campus grand opening, registration

Greenville – The Paris Junior College-Greenville Center Grand Opening has been scheduled for September 18.

While major construction is completed on the Paris Junior College - Greenville Center's new campus, and business is being conducted on the site, a few minor construction details are still being completed. The grand opening and public tour of the new building has therefore been rescheduled to September 18 at 3:00 p.m.

''We're very proud of the new facility and it looks great,'' says PJC President Dr. Pamela Anglin, ''but all the work needs to be completed before we showcase it.''

The campus is located on land just west of Greenville High School at the intersection of Monty Stratton Parkway and Lion's Lair. SHW Group of Dallas is the architectural firm that developed the campus master plan and designed the first building. Charter Builders of Dallas has been responsible for the construction of the new facility.

''Charter Construction has pushed extremely hard to have us in the new building for fall classes,'' adds Dr. Anglin, ''We have moved in but we are waiting on the arrival of tile for the stairs, some furniture and other small items yet to be completed. We are very pleased with the project overall and know it will be a tremendous asset to Greenville and the surrounding communities.''

In-person registration for the fall semester at the Greenville campus will be on Tuesday, August 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Students attending Paris Junior College may obtain an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, an Associate of Applied Science degree, or workforce and continuing education certificates. PJC also partners with area business to tailor workforce-training programs.
