PJC to hold information sessions on nursing programs

PARIS - Meetings begin this week at Paris Junior College regarding newly revised admission criteria for both registered nursing and licensed vocational nursing programs.

Public information sessions will be held at all three campuses, with the school’s Sulphur Springs Center to conduct their meeting Wednesday from 12-2 p.m. at 1232 Houston St., Room 102. Officials will conduct a session in Greenville next Wednesday, December 7 at 6500 Monty Stratton Parkway, Room 118 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. And the meeting in Paris will be held on December 13, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.  at 2400 Clarksville St.

Potential applicants to the nursing program at Paris Junior College should attend one of these sessions, to ensure they will meet the new requirements. Find out about a new admissions process, whether your GPA meets the standard, and more. Health Occupations Division staff, as well as Director Marcia Putnam, will be on hand to provide the new criteria to attendees and answer questions about those changes.
