The Hunt County Sheriff’s Department is reporting an emergency landing of an aircraft in a field west of Wolfe City.  A call of a possible plane crash was received just before 9am Thursday.  The Sheriff and Wolfe City Police responded to the call and determined the aircraft had engine problems and had to make an emergency landing in a pasture along FM816 west of Wolfe City.

The pilot was identified as Tommy Spradlin with Darrell Reed as the passenger.  No injuries were reported.
